daydream.

yesterday

i walked out in the streets of
a misty daydream
i stumbled on the sides of
a dozen dead realities
i saw many a men watering
roots of a dead tree
i heard a person die and
many people laughing
i met with an artist whose
art died in love

and i decided i’ll be going back
to forget about today

until tomorrow.

Bang

12:57 AM.

I rested my head
against the comfort of
my pillow and closed
my eyes
in the hope of
timely sleep

for a change.

just few hours
of pitch dark velvet
sky over me
around me.

no notifications
no vibrations
no wishes
no dreams
no reality

just absolutely
nothing.

3:12 AM.

shit.

I got up and
sat down against
the back of my chair.

the reflected rays
of the sun
had flooded the room.

I tried again.
and this time,
the sleep snuck up on me
like a hunter stalking
an unsuspecting prey.

and, bang.

Under the stars, naked

Thank you for reading my madness.

I never expected
so many of you to read,
it is just madness
after all,
but that’s okay,

we are all a little mad and a bit crazy.

And I’ve always liked the mad ones

– for we are the ones who talk in riddles and smile when we do,
for we know the world makes more sense to us that way –

so, if you’re reading this somewhere in the world,
smiling,
I do hope that one day we meet.

And when we do,
let’s decide that no matter
where we are in the world,

we will find a place to light a fire,
on a beach,
or somewhere in the woods
where you can still see the stars

– and we will get cheap drinks,
the cheaper the better,
and we will play old tunes,
and laugh about the world –

and as the sun comes up
we will run,
naked,

as the stars call us back,
their children,
their mad children coming home.

let’s agree to that
and I hope
to see you soon.
