so many to explore
so little time
so many to taste,
with only one life.

And I’m Brad Pitt
This story is just a usual story. A regular story about guys and girls. A guy and a girl in particular. They could be anyone. Look around you. To your left. To your right. Now look in the mirror. That’s right. Stare right into those eyes who are staring back at you. They could be you too.
They could be anyone, and no one. And that was what’s so beautiful about them. They could pretend like they were the only two people that God ever intended to create on this planet we call home, but they could also pass each other on an empty street and not even look at the other, even though their bodies knew the other was just a breath away.
They were intense, yet hollow.
They were fire, yet a snow storm.
Burning up to their desires, arctic cold to their souls.
Honestly, they both were full of shit. That’s what I think about them. And about every other guy and girl who think they are the special one.
Sure. Why not?
And I’m Brad Pitt.
PS: How’s this for the beginning of a Novella people?
Stories – Day 1 – Never stop fighting
This is one of my personal favorites. Enjoy.
At first I didn’t scroll down all the way so I thought “THE END” really was the end of the post, and the end of the story and I almost burst into desperate tears at the lack of resolution. It made me realize how much I agree with you. I’ve always been a dreamer. I was going to be salutatorian of my graduating class and attend college with a full ride scholarship. But I would’ve been miserable. I want to thrive, not just survive. So I gave all that up to go to school in France instead. People are meant to be fulfilled dreams, not societal norms. We weren’t meant to fit comfortably in boxes. Thank you for telling the truth, brother. Never stop fighting for your dreams.❤

Let me tell you a story
Once upon a time, not long ago, there was a boy. Let’s call him our hero.
Our hero was young and full of energy. He thought he could do anything he wanted. And why not? He had just started experiencing this thing we all call life.
He was completely mesmerized by the possibilities around him. But sooner or later, he knew he had to decide what he wanted to do with his life. And that was one thing our hero didn’t know at the time.
He had some ideas, but he wasn’t sure whether he wanted to pursue them for the rest of his life. So he did what most of his friends were doing, and ended up getting a college degree. And soon enough, our hero got a decent job.
He worked hard, very hard, and kept getting promoted every year or so. Then one day, he got married and had a son, who actually is going to be our new hero.
So our new hero was born, and boy he grew up fast. He was always the centre of attraction wherever he went. Our new hero, just like his father, was exuberant.
He was young and full of energy. He thought he could do anything he wanted.
And why not? He had just started experiencing this thing we all call life.
He was completely mesmerized by the possibilities around him. But he did something his dad, our old hero, never did much.
He dreamed.
Every living moment.
He dreamed of becoming a famous sportsperson. He dreamed of becoming a great writer. He dreamed of performing in front of a huge audience. He dreamed of owning a business empire. He dreamed of being his best at anything he did.
And he didn’t just dream. He kept learning and pursuing those “hobbies” (as our old hero called them) from time to time. But sooner or later, he knew he had to decide what he wanted to do with his life.
Now our new hero knew what he wanted to be, but he didn’t know what to do to be who he wanted to be. I guess there weren’t many dreamers around him. So he went with the safe and sensible decision and did what every single one of his friends was doing.
He got a college degree.
And guess what, he also ended up with a pretty decent job. Just like his dad.
He worked hard, very hard, and got a higher salary every year.
And somewhere along the way, he kept burying all those dreams he had when he was young.
And after 50 years of doing this, he died.
THE END.
What happened?
Didn’t like the ending?
I know, the ending is not right. It just doesn’t feel good.
But here’s the best part.
It’s our story, let’s just change the ending.
Because only we can.
What do you want to do before you die?
This is your life. Do what you love, and do it often. If you don’t like something, change it. If you don’t like your job, quit. If you don’t have enough time, stop watching TV. If you are looking for the love of your life, stop; they will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love. Stop over analyzing, life is simple. All emotions are beautiful. When you eat, appreciate every last bite. Open your mind, arms, and heart to new things and people, we are united in our differences. Ask the next person you see what their passion is, and share your inspiring dream with them. Travel often; getting lost will help you find yourself. Some opportunities only come once; seize them. Life is about the people you meet and the things you create with them, so go out and start creating. Live your dream, and wear your passion. Life is short.
You can’t friend a dream. You can’t download your feelings. You can’t tag happiness, or post the feeling you get from helping a total stranger. The only thing you can hope to do in your short life…is live your dreams & check each one off, one at a time.
