a candid arrogance.

your equivocal smile
curves every hope of mine.
I stretch my hand
so the good can no longer
be distanced.

the blinders protect us
from the outside
that hides in the shadows.
my body encircles itself
with your physical thoughts.

with all the candid arrogance
that this morning light
comes with

it can wait.

daydream.

yesterday

i walked out in the streets of
a misty daydream
i stumbled on the sides of
a dozen dead realities
i saw many a men watering
roots of a dead tree
i heard a person die and
many people laughing
i met with an artist whose
art died in love

and i decided i’ll be going back
to forget about today

until tomorrow.

Wings of Freedom

I walk,

I walk on the street,

Under the stars,

Upon their glittering sheet…

Shining the way,

I’ve never known,

They were all together,

But why I was all alone…

Why should I alone feel all the light,

Under my feet when they shine bright,

My steps make the splashing sound,

Just enough loud to cover my wounds…

All of noises and all of sounds,

All the moments for which I look around,

They all come to me with so much speed,

Carrying all the memories and all my deeds,

I look up and reflect on them,

They’re gliding away in the sky,

Wish I could capture them,

And bid them a deserving goodbye…

I glance,

Down on the stars,

The shine is what set them apart…

The darkness around,

It just fades away,

Over the trees,

Where the birds lay…

Distracted they all start to fly,

Above my head in the moonlit sky,

Then why should I be feeling so trapped,

When the life is always full of crap…

All of noises and all  of sounds,

All the places that I look around,

They all glow with a new sense,

It makes me jump off the fence,

And follow the birds wherever they go,

They’re free to live their life,

I also want to go to the place they know,

And feel their freedom vibes…

Paradise

A little girl was all she was,
Without any knowledge of cheats and flaws,
She lived in a world of her own,
Believing all good things she had known…

She lived in a place in all her dreams,
Not near, far away, it usually seemed,
Back then when dreams used to be reality,
It was in her mind with much more clarity…

She dreamt of that place day and night,
Always going there whenever she’d a fight,
All happiness there made her alive,
Yes, she was in her paradise…

As she grew, her place felt farther,
Stuck with problems, always growing larger,
Never ending roads in front to walk,
Just fear with her to share and talk…

No truths, no promises, no faithful ties,
Much more she felt in the world full of lies,
It wasn’t her dreams where the sun rules,
Here just the money and more money, fools…

Her endless dreams faded away,
Of the place for which she heartily pray,
Feeling sadness here, she weeps and cries,
Maybe she lost her paradise…

As she lost the smile on her face,
She looked at mirror with such a disgrace,
Raising her arm she was forced to fight,
Breaking the mirror she felt calm and light…

In blooded pieces she saw herself broken down,
The new was gone and the old was found,
A ray of hope dawned upon her eyes,
She searched for the truths from the pack of lies…

A sense of happiness found her again,
Everything was washed with the showers of rain,
A clear image of chilhood dreams gleamed in her eyes,
Yes, she was in her paradise…

The Unknown Path…

Hey everyone! Back with another of my written piece of poetry, this one talks about the unknown path, the dreams of a person and his beliefs in themnjOy!

The vision, its far away, But belief is still alive,

Hoping to conquer everything, Willing to dig deep and dive…

To many of the living beings, The vision seems superficial,

But few of them only know, Its possible, not artificial…

The dream of only one, Not all dare to dream,

Waiting to be reality, Its my bejewelled queen…

Standing on the starting line, Unknown path waits for me,

It stands in the pride, Only few have traveled before me…

They say it has obstacles, But I say they’re hidden opportunities,

Waiting there, just to be discovered, By someone who has started his journey…

Though it maybe a bit tough,

Still it leads me to my dream,

The seeds of dream reaped deep inside,

Waiting to be a fully grown tree…

Addicted…

Hey Everyone! I’m back with my another creation extracted from my hobby 🙂

Its a poem called Addicted’. And don’t mind telling me if you don’t like it ( also tell me even if you like it!).

Remember those days,
When we sat on the river shore,
No rules, No ways,
We wanted nothing more…

When I looked deep into your eyes,
I would feel the calmness,
The depth of the blue ocean,
The breeze and its coolness…

The wind finding its way through your hair,
The moonlight shining on your face,
You seemed to be a fairy,
Just by God’s grace…

I took your hand in mine,
And felt the softest touch,
You closed your eyes and breathe in the moment,
I felt the same, more and much…

The whole place looked like heaven,
And the world stood still,
Some words were spoken, carried by the air,
Some empty spaces were filled…

Now when I think about those days,
I recollect the happy memories from them,
Now I know how much Addicted I was,
To you, my precious gem…

Remembering the days…

Hey everyone! Most of you don’t know ( even I have a doubt sometimes about this!) that I can write. Yeah, that’s true! So here is a piece of my work…its a poem which describes a situation that is created by war and its after-effects….njOy!

The sun came up,
Shining brightly,
Only to see the empty streets…
No sign of life,
No one around,
Few animals were standing on their feets…

The further you go,
More steps you take,
Silence increases on the way…
No one to speak,
& no one to talk,
It wasn’t like any usual day…

The buildings shaking,
Without their mirrors,
Many of them without their walls…
NO place to pray,
NO place to lay,
There were neither any shops nor malls…

You turn around,
The wind blows swiftly,
& dust starts covering the sky…
You see the birds,
Going away from their homes,
Without even saying goodbye…

The smell of the bullets,
The firing of the guns,
Still remains fresh in the air…
It reminds you,
Of the scary battle,
& traps you in its invisible layer…

A little hope of the survival,
Of life and of mercy was there…
You feel for them, you pray for them,
May God listen to your prayers…
