do not stand for me and wait
i won’t be there. it ain’t my trait.
i’ll be gone before you even know
along with gushing winds over the snow
i am the blinding light of your blues
i am the rain of a thousand hues
do not stand there and act shocked
you listened as well but never walked
when the stars drown you every night
i am the sailor of their guiding light
do not stand for me and try
i am not there. i did not die.
light
one last light
i reach out to the stars
for the light to live on for a while
my fragments travel afar
spreading out west in 49 miles
i close my eyes some certain nights
and gaze at constellations I’ve made
with cluster of souls that fit just right
with mine, free and calmly laid
i walk up to each of them
and feel them growing in fire
when they cool down I pick up those gems
and move them above and higher
they glance to see how far they are
and thank the Lord about
the shine, the scars, their dimensions out far
I see them sailing out, and out
and now I crawl in my lonely sky
missing the light I found
all but one sang goodbyes
a spacial rose still hangs around
in this dusky sky of mine
amidst the dark of lights, their vain
i still have one star that flickers
the light that care still remains.
Blame it on me
i saw her fingers
move across her
face, trying
aimlessly to rescue
her hair
from their freedom.
the hair was
free, but she
blamed it
on the gravity.
so it seemed.
her face reflected
the white light
of her screen.
glowing, she was
but she blamed it
on electricity.
or so it seemed.
her glasses kept
sneaking down
an inch or so
without seeking her
permission.
it was all
beautifully framed,
but she blamed it on
design.
or so it seemed.
and i just
kept
looking.
she had nothing
to blame that on.
it was all
my fault.
Rain
Shall I compare you to a rainy day?
You are more thunderous and wet
with misery, giving turbulent winds a way,
Reminiscence of the time we met,
Sometimes too noisy for the eager ear,
And often making the landscape dreary,
Always gray and too much to bear,
Exploring and exploiting the confused and weary,
But your eternal excitement will never fade,
Nor the smile you put on my face will die,
For you’ll be the broken star to whom I prayed,
Leaving behind a trail of stardust in that rainy sky,
So long as your heart can see what’s essential & right,
So long lives this, and you, and your yellow light.
Unwanted
rain.
feeble light.
canned soup.
slow breathing.
clock ticking away.
silence.
there was
something
unwanted but complete
in his emptiness.
Be vulnerable
and you’ll be surprised what you learn and who you meet.
Be vulnerable
if you are going to have a real relationship with someone.
Because someone has to be the first.
Be the one who opens up the dialogue.
Who asks questions.
Who cares.
No one has it all figured out. We are all just trying really hard.
If you can be vulnerable, you can share the journey with others who have similar insecurities.
And when we open our hearts, we get better.
Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.
Black and blue
Is it fear that always brings us here?
Or the voices we hear at night?
Do they speak just to make us weak?
When we seek for the light,
We twist, we fall, we crawl,
We break our hearts,
We stare, we wonder, we fear,
But we’re never apart,
And in the space between the stars,
We take it one small step too far,
We make promises and break our hearts,
I don’t want us to get lost in the dark,
Strange things happen but only few,
Where it’s going to lead I wish we knew,
Black roads ahead and without any clue,
We move on embracing the blue..
Leaving was never the same…
I left all the thoughts inside,
Some unspoken things in my mind,
Buried them deep under the ground,
With memories that never got found,
I saw the Sun going down,
Parting away without making any sound,
The light betrays showing the way,
To the darkness where the rest lay,
But leaving was never the same,
Without the dark it can never change,
No matter if the Sun went down,
Another one rises and light gets around,
Leaving the place with a hope to live,
New dimensions intending to give,
A new birth to souls that now rest on their own names,
But this leaving was never the same…
Wings of Freedom
I walk,
I walk on the street,
Under the stars,
Upon their glittering sheet…
Shining the way,
I’ve never known,
They were all together,
But why I was all alone…
Why should I alone feel all the light,
Under my feet when they shine bright,
My steps make the splashing sound,
Just enough loud to cover my wounds…
All of noises and all of sounds,
All the moments for which I look around,
They all come to me with so much speed,
Carrying all the memories and all my deeds,
I look up and reflect on them,
They’re gliding away in the sky,
Wish I could capture them,
And bid them a deserving goodbye…
I glance,
Down on the stars,
The shine is what set them apart…
The darkness around,
It just fades away,
Over the trees,
Where the birds lay…
Distracted they all start to fly,
Above my head in the moonlit sky,
Then why should I be feeling so trapped,
When the life is always full of crap…
All of noises and all of sounds,
All the places that I look around,
They all glow with a new sense,
It makes me jump off the fence,
And follow the birds wherever they go,
They’re free to live their life,
I also want to go to the place they know,
And feel their freedom vibes…
