Stories – Day 4 – Dating & Consciousness

The feeling stuck, you mention, triggers a related topic to surface, which is that of “dating” and getting to know the “self” in order to determine what is sought and needed, even if the conclusions are moving targets just as we are moving targets as we grow wiser, considering we are dynamic creatures. The answers behind our search differ from when we are 16, 25, 39, 50, etc. And dating others cannot fill the void or circumvent the painful process of waking up the unconscious.

Stories – Day 3 – It’s a process

I like the way you started. A book in process. Just write whatever comes in your mind, and have them organized later. For me, I have pieces here and there in my computer, in my notebooks. I finally put all the digital pieces in the same file, but paper pieces… I have to find. Thank you for following my blog. My daughter just called and wanted to do a joint publication of a book. We have to think of a format. Anyway, I’m thinking as I am writing to you. How about that? Let’s check on each other’s progress and hopefully see each other’s books in the market.

Stories – Day 2 -The monk who sold her mopet

In case you don’t know about the book mentioned, check it out here. It’s pretty good.

I once wanted an escape and recharge myself like the monk who sold his Ferrari and be in nature, detox emotionally and physiologically. And read and blog.
I am in Sweden being the monk who sold her mopet and doing exactly what I wanted. Never give up on dreams but never wish for pain. The world has lot to offer in that field already
God bless!

Stories – Day 1 – Never stop fighting

This is one of my personal favorites. Enjoy.

At first I didn’t scroll down all the way so I thought “THE END” really was the end of the post, and the end of the story and I almost burst into desperate tears at the lack of resolution. It made me realize how much I agree with you. I’ve always been a dreamer. I was going to be salutatorian of my graduating class and attend college with a full ride scholarship. But I would’ve been miserable. I want to thrive, not just survive. So I gave all that up to go to school in France instead. People are meant to be fulfilled dreams, not societal norms. We weren’t meant to fit comfortably in boxes. Thank you for telling the truth, brother. Never stop fighting for your dreams.❤

Here’s the plan

Alright people, we’re going to try something new for the next few days.

I was going through some of y’alls comments on my previous posts, and believe it or not, I have the best subscribers. Y’all are so insightful, honest, personal, and humorous and some of the personal stories you’ve posted as comments are exceptional. Seriously, I mean it.

So here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to post some of those comments here, and although I want to post them all just because I love them all, that would take forever. And I’m going to do this in a series of blog posts, so feel free to share them with anyone if you think they are as effective as I think they are.

And if you don’t already follow me on Instagram (@aakash_tyagi) and Facebook (@AakashWrites), you are missing out. So do that, and share the love.

See y’all tomorrow with the first one.

Don’t be that guy

You know that one guy who wouldn’t write his first blog post because he’s waiting for that perfect topic that’s going to make him famous?

Or that guy who never shows you his amazing movie scripts because they’re not ready yet?

Or that one girl who won’t stop complaining to you about how un-perfect she looks?

Or that girl who wouldn’t go up to make her pitch because it’s not the right time yet?

Or that one guy who wouldn’t take a damn risk because the conditions are not right?
Or the market isn’t ready?
Or he’s waiting for a better opportunity?
Or he’s just unlucky?
Or bad things always happen to him?
Or he can’t take another rejection?

Yes. Don’t be those people.
Please.

Because there’s never any perfect, ready, right time, right conditions, right market, better opportunity, luck, or anything like that.

Especially, luck.

Just a few moments

I wanted to
spend some time
with the universe,
the stars and
moonlight.

hear their stories
and animate those
words to
every soul I lay
my eyes upon.

but there was
this fear of
moving in that direction
for I may lose
what I have now
and not find anything
except loneliness.

I took
that forbidden path anyway
and realized, all
I wanted
is to drag the time
out for
a few moments.
