Always travelling

Whenever I took the path unknown,

It lead me to lots of unexpected things,

Sometimes there’s company, most of the times alone,

It took me a step ahead on its wings,

Flying all the way and through,

My heart knew it was true,

My mind told me to wait,

Why are you so afraid?

Just take the road and follow the leaves,

That once loved the lush green trees,

Now they lead to the pit of dark,

Not aware of the light behind that arc,

Though the spirit turns me down,

Though the heart sinks and frown,

I know it’ll turn around someday,

Still believe it’s worth the wait…
