Remembering the days…

Hey everyone! Most of you don’t know ( even I have a doubt sometimes about this!) that I can write. Yeah, that’s true! So here is a piece of my work…its a poem which describes a situation that is created by war and its after-effects….njOy!

The sun came up,
Shining brightly,
Only to see the empty streets…
No sign of life,
No one around,
Few animals were standing on their feets…

The further you go,
More steps you take,
Silence increases on the way…
No one to speak,
& no one to talk,
It wasn’t like any usual day…

The buildings shaking,
Without their mirrors,
Many of them without their walls…
NO place to pray,
NO place to lay,
There were neither any shops nor malls…

You turn around,
The wind blows swiftly,
& dust starts covering the sky…
You see the birds,
Going away from their homes,
Without even saying goodbye…

The smell of the bullets,
The firing of the guns,
Still remains fresh in the air…
It reminds you,
Of the scary battle,
& traps you in its invisible layer…

A little hope of the survival,
Of life and of mercy was there…
You feel for them, you pray for them,
May God listen to your prayers…

How to feed unknown cats!

I know the title seems strange! But yes, I’ll truly tell you how to do that. I’ve been doing that for a while now. I found a cat outside my door one day, with little hungry eyes! So I decided why not give something to her.

As I went inside to grab something for her, she was on her feet with her tongue sticking out!

So here are the steps:

1. Find a cat! (You’ll surely want to do that to feed her)

2. Get her some milk and put it in front of her. And then back away a little.

3. Get your cam and shoot some nice close-ups of the beautiful creature in front of you!

4. As the wildness increases, you get more stunning shots!

5. Wait for her, as she calms down after finishing all the milk.

So you are done feeding the unknown cat! Simple, isn’t it? So go on and try it, and maybe you get some of the nice cam shots which are worth giving away some milk 😉

Discovering Strangers…!

Hey everyone! Whats going on guys ? I guess most of you will be busy in their daily and day-to-day routine work of office, etc. And odds are that you’ll be surrounded with lots of people working with you or simply associated to your work. So how much do you actually know about them(except their names of course!)?

Since past few days, I’ve been travelling a lot and found out that strangers sitting next to you in a train, in plane or working with you can be interesting (and helpful too!). For example, I was travelling in train and a guy, maybe 2 years older than me, sat besides me. When I talked to him, I found out that he was one of my seniors from my school! And what  journey I had then…! Similarly, there are others whom you can relate to.

The main thing is to break the self-created barrier which creates certain reasons in our mind why not to talk to others. So we switch to other things like iPod(great invention, no offense!) and cellphones. They virtually creates a wall and we are happy to be in our safe zone. But when we break the barrier and smile and just start with a “hi!”, we explore other zones and also bring others out of their comfort zones and make them comfortable in our newly created space. Quite simple, isn’t it?!!

So next time you see someone you want to talk to but your mind gives you 100000000 reasons to not to talk to him/her, just smile and say “hi!” and do it! Yes, really do it.
